This naturally occurring desert flower is made up
of selenite (gypsum) and barite, with sand
inclusions creating petals of crystal forming
along gypsum's characteristic cleavage planes.
The desert rose form in arid conditions by
evaporation of shallow salt basins over millions
of years.Each package contains one such "flower,"
allowing you to carry it with you for protection.
Each stone measures approximately 1 1/2" in diameter.
